This scholarship will be presented to a student who is pursuing a career that will serve the autism and disability community. The scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books and room and board at an accredited institution for higher learning and is available up to $1000.00.
The recipient must be an Arkansas resident and attend a school in Arkansas. All abilities may apply and preference will be given to a student who is following a degree with a career path of working with persons with disabilities. Examples may include but are not limited to: Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Special Education Teacher, etc. Academic promise, need, and evidence of ability to work effectively with the disables community in Arkansas will factors in determining the award recipient.
Applications will be accepted from July 1st to August 15st and applicants will be notified within two weeks of this deadline. Applicants must submit a completed application, a copy of college or high school transcripts, and two letters of recommendation. One of the recommendations must be a teacher or a professor/advisor from the applicant’s current program or school.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges.
The Foundation provides autism friendly events and relevant workshops and training opportunities.
